flash is the piece for violin, viola, electronics and lighting by Akiko Ushijima,
It’s was performed on 24th April at Royal Conservatoire in Den haag.

The presentation was done. Thank you for all people who was there. Especially for being committee, Eugene A. Kim, Leonie Roessler and for coaching Yannis Kyriakides, Peter Adriaansz and Yuuki Ohta.　
I was listening to Ringo Shiina, Japanese pop singer. She always stimulates me even if I am doing different type of music. “Syun” has nice lyrics. (Though the link of below doesn’t have english subtitle.)
I went shopping in Rotterdam and bought some stuff for myself.

英語と日本語と同じ内容で書きたいけれど、どうしても日本語のほうが思考と直結していて、長くなってしまう。
とにかくプレゼンが終わり、そして終わる前から、自分の投げるべきボールはどこに向かうのかを考えつつ。
それでも終わる前と終わったあとは全然違ったり。
悲しいこともあったけど、それでも感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
ありがとう。
久しぶりに椎名林檎。
音楽的に方向性は違っても、いつも私の心をざわつかせて挑発する効果をもっています。

I’m going to talk about my own composition tomorrow on 7th of May at Royal Conservatoire.
The theme is “Sense of Movement in Musical Composition”.
The room is M 201. It will start 13:00.

My premiere of “flash” for violin, viola, electronics and lighting was done.

新曲”flash” の初演が終わりました。
今回も様様なピンチがありましたが、周りの大切な人々に励まされ、助けられ、完成させた曲でした。
本当に感謝です。
演出ありきの作品をコンスタントに発表していく難しさや、他にもこれから解決しなければならない問題がありますが、
これからも機会を見つけて発表し続けていきたいと思います。

私と音楽の関係はこれからどうなっていくのか。
もっと深く潜っていけるはず。
もっと楽しんでやれるはず。
そこにはまだ見ぬつながり、これがあるから頑張れるっていう世界が待っていると信じつつ。
シンプルで、スッとあちらの世界に行ける、そんな作品を作っていきたいです。

Now I’m composing New piece for Violin, Viola, Electronics and lighting for Spring Festival.
It will be performed on 24th of April in Den haag at Royal Conservatoire.

The 3rd performance of “Cosmonica” finished on 15th Jan. in the CASS concert.
It was discussion concert of my school though, there was so family atmosphere.
I got some favorable responses…

In my piece Cosmonica, I aim to create “organic electric sounds.”
Cosmonica is an electronic piece written with the sounds of organ, piano, steel drum and other percussion.
The way that the sounds act and interact with each other is like a living being.
I pursued the motion of the sound which can be felt organic.
